Linocut printing, the first designs

Linocut is a printing technique.

The first step is to carve a lino block with the design we want to print.

The second step is to ink the lino and print the design on paper.

I started linocuts almost by accident. I had some carving tools at my parents’ house. I found the carving part so relaxing that I kept trying new designs.

Those are my first ones, made between May and August 2022.

My first ever linocut design was part of the A Table collective exhibition.
