Stand-up comedy

After a year of doing standup comedy, I am a finalist at The Classic’s Raw national contest.

In 2022, I went back on stage after more than ten years of thinking “It is not the good time for me”.

I went to a couple of writing workshops about stand-up comedy in Paris, went on stage in front of a very open minded audience, and decided I wanted to continue this journey.

When I arrived in Auckland in September 2022, I went to every open mic I could find in the city, and I talked to MCs and comedians. A couple of weeks later, I went on stage with my first act.

In three months, I signed up for every open mic until I got a 5 minute that works.

In 2023, my goal is to keep going and hopefully have a full hour at the end of the year.
